ED Academy Alumni Program
For months, you’ve been supported, inspired, and equipped with tools to thrive as an Executive Director. And now, as your year-long journey within the ED Academy ends, you may find yourself asking,
“What’s next?”
As you know, the role of an ED doesn’t come with a finish line. The work never stops: the wins, the hard decisions, the uncertainties. You also know that leadership is often lonely, making the day-to-day challenges feel harder.
That’s why we created the ED Academy Alumni Program.
A space for ongoing learning, training, and application, along with support, guidance, and mentorship. The ability to remain connected (and expand your network) with your fellow EDs who understand your journey and are growing right alongside you. A community where you won’t just sustain the progress you’ve made within the ED Academy, you’ll amplify it.
The Alumni Program includes:
Leadership Lens:
Kick off each month with a focused, high-impact training session designed specifically for Executive Directors. In just 60 minutes, we’ll explore practical frameworks and perspectives to help navigate complex leadership challenges and real-world situations. It’s quick and purposeful learning to fuel your leadership.
Alumni Roundtable:
Building on the monthly theme explored in Leadership Lens, the Alumni Roundtable is a 60-minute facilitated session exclusively for alumni. This is a dedicated space to connect, reflect, and problem-solve with peers, and to support one another as you put learning into action.
ED Consults:
Some leadership moments need a quick gut-check, while others need protected time. ED Consults offer both. Alumni can reach out through private messaging or voice notes in the community hub for in-the-moment support, and book 30-minute 1:1 sessions when a challenge needs deeper focus and care.
ED Academy Summit (October 21-23, 2026):
A two-day in-person summit on beautiful Prince Edward Island, bringing together Executive Directors from across the Maritimes. This is a powerful opportunity to reconnect, deepen your leadership practice, and strengthen sector-wide connections, all in a supportive and inspiring environment. More details coming soon.
Online learning classroom:
Didn’t get to dive into all the online learning during your time in the program? Or maybe you’re looking for a refresher, a specific tool, or a template to support your work? As an ED Academy alum, you’ll retain access to the full library of resources that help set you up for success, whenever you need them.
EDA Community:
Stay connected through a private, ongoing online hub where you can ask questions, celebrate wins, and get real-time support from fellow EDs. Plus, access a growing directory of ED Academy participants from across the Maritimes, making it easy to keep in touch, collaborate, and expand your network.
And finally… a break:
EDs need time to recharge. That’s why no programming is scheduled in August, giving you space to rest, reflect, and enjoy summer. Consider it a well-deserved pause in your leadership journey.

In the ED Academy, you experienced firsthand the power of having a community behind you. The alumni program is designed to keep that momentum going. It’s a space where you can be real, feel supported, and keep growing as a leader.
What participation looks like:
➡️ Investment: $1,000 per year
➡️ Timing: Your cohort starts in April 2026
➡️ Commitment: ~3 hours per month, plus a 2-day summit in October
