Frances Gertsch
Growing up in Alberta, Frances always loved travelling and exploring the great outdoors. Her passion turned into a career after she followed her mother’s wise advice: “Do what you love!”
Frances and her partner, Kelvin Jones, are Trusted Travel Advisors with Stewart Travel Group where they specialize in hosting group tours, curating unique independent experiences, coordinating wine and culinary tours, and organizing adventures for solo travellers. They work primarily with adult travellers who have the time and money to fulfil their dreams of exploring the world.
And, they have a particular knack for helping first-time travellers and ensuring they are well-looked-after.
Frances brings with her an Honours Bachelor of Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Tourism, nearly 20 years of experience in the travel product development industry, and an unmatched enthusiasm for helping you meet your travel goals.
Sarah Bennetto O’Brien
Chef and Owner Sarah Bennetto O’Brien is a Red Seal Chef with 20 years of culinary experience and just over 5 years of entrepreneurship.
Heading up an ever-growing food manufacturing company, Bennetto O’Brien sources local ingredients to create savoury hand-held pies that keep Prince Edward Islanders fueled for all of their epic adventures!
With 6 year round staff and 13 seasonal staff, this rural PEI business produces up to 900 Handpies per day with distribution of frozen Handpies going out to just over 20 retailers as of December 2019.
Maureen Hanley
Maureen Hanley has 30 years’ business experience and is a self-described “serial entrepreneur.” She is the head of operations for Navigate Food Safety Solutions, a Montague-based company she shares with her husband, Alexandre.
Navigate was awarded the 2018 Export Excellence award from the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce. Maureen has owned and operated several successful businesses and is skilled at product development, marketing, creating media content and managing growth.
She spent 7 years managing all initiatives related to the brand of Chef Michael Smith at Culinart Limited. Maureen has a reputation for recruiting expertise and building enviable teams. She has been a lifelong supporter and mentor of women in business.
She is currently enrolled in the Wallace McCain Institute Entrepreneurial Leaders Program, a peer group for CEO’s, Presidents and Founders growing a business in Greater Atlantic Area.
